The Friends of Lydney Hospital is a long-established charitable organisation dedicated to supporting health and wellbeing within the local community.
Today, the charity supports local health and wellbeing initiatives, including prevention and recovery services, while assisting vulnerable groups such as the elderly and disabled.

The Lydney and District Community Hospital 1908-2024
Mary Elizabeth Bathurst of Lydney Park suffered from health issues that left her paralysed. She wanted to help other people in similar situations by establishing a local hospital.
